The canvas for this watch is a genuine meteorite fragment, a piece of extraterrestrial iron that drifted through the universe for billions of years before landing on Earth. Its surface carries the unmistakable Widmanstätten pattern: those slow, crystalline lines formed over millions of years of cooling in the void of space. No two are alike. No human hand could replicate them.

It is, quite literally, a dial that no one on Earth could have made.

The Panda — A Meeting of Two Worlds

Upon this fragment of eternity, we placed one of nature's rarest and most beloved creatures.

The giant panda a symbol of grace, quiet resilience, and extraordinary rarity, was hand-painted on the meteorite surface in a painstaking collaboration with @thedialartist, under the creative vision of legendary Gulf art collector AZ.

The artistry involved is difficult to put into words. Each dial takes multiple hours to complete. The bamboo is rendered in a glossy finish, catching the light with a subtle sheen. The panda itself is painted in matte soft, precise, almost breathing against the ancient metallic grain beneath it. The contrast between gloss and matte, between painted life and cosmic stone, creates a surface that shifts every time you move your wrist.

This is not printing. This is not transfer. This is a painter, a brush, and an extraordinary amount of patience.

The Vision Behind the Piece

The concept was shaped by AZ, who wrote:

" Not every dial starts its life on Earth. This one travelled through space for billions of years before it ever became a watch. That felt like the right canvas for a panda, an animal so rare, so calm, so quietly powerful. We painted it by hand, every single stroke. Not to decorate. To honour. Where something ancient from the universe meets one of nature's most precious creatures, that's where this watch lives."

The inspiration arrived through the eyes of a collector deeply rooted in Asian culture where the panda has long represented not just an animal, but a philosophy. Patience. Stillness. The refusal to rush. Here, that philosophy meets a material formed over billions of years. Nothing about this dial was ever in a hurry. And perhaps that is the point.

Each piece ships with a certificate of authenticity confirming its place in the edition. Once these 25 are gone, this chapter is closed. The meteorite cannot be reordered. The moment cannot be repeated.
