Let's make a watch that doesn't exist yet.
This is the part of the work I love most, sitting down with someone and turning an idea, a stone, or a story into a single watch that's entirely theirs.
I keep this side of things small on purpose. I only take on a handful of custom pieces at a time, and honestly, I choose them based on one thing above all else: how much creative freedom I get.
The more room you give me to play, the more excited I am to make something special. So come with an idea, not a spec sheet. We'll figure the rest out together, the easy way.
A Few of My Favourite Things
Stone DialsCut from the earth, or from your own
I can source a rough stone and turn it into your dial: agate, charoite, lapis, tiger iron, whatever speaks to you. Or, if you already own a stone with meaning behind it, send it my way and I'll cut and process it into a dial myself.
Hidden NumeralsA meaning only you can see
We can do custom numerals, often with a little secret built in. For a child born in February, we made the 2 the single white numeral on the dial, nobody else would ever notice it. You'd always know it was there.
EngravingInside and out
Custom engraving on the case back, and on the rotor too, the weight that swings as you move, usually tucked out of sight. A good place to hide a date, a name, or a few words that matter.
Gem SettingDiamonds, and other small fires
Precious stones, diamonds and beyond, set into the piece wherever they earn their place. Subtle or not, your call.
I take on only a limited number of these projects, and I pick them for the creative freedom they offer me, not the size of the order. Give me room to surprise you, and you'll get my best work.
How It Usually Goes
Tell me the idea
A call, a DM, an email, whatever's easy. Tell me the idea, the story, the stone, the date that matters. No commitment, just a proper conversation to see where it could go.
From your references
You send me visual references, anything that captures the feeling you're after, and we shape the piece from there. We lock in every detail, dial, numerals, engraving, stones, before anything is made, so there are no surprises later.
Built by hand
From there it's down to me. I build the piece by hand in the atelier and bring your design to life exactly as we agreed. This part takes the time it takes, and it's worth every minute.
One watch, one owner
It arrives boxed, with its certificate and guarantee, insured and signed-for at the door. Made once, for you, and never repeated.
Tell Me What You're Dreaming Up
No need to have it all figured out, a rough idea is plenty to start. I read every message myself and usually reply within a day.
